Colored Titanium Nuts

Titanium nuts aren’t simply titanium shaped into nuts. Instead, they achieve a perfect balance between “connectivity” and “environmental adaptability” through precise titanium grades (such as pure titanium, Ti-6Al-4V, Ti-6Al-2Sn-4Zr-2Mo), advanced forming techniques (cold heading, hot forging, CNC machining), and surface treatments (pickling, passivation, and coating).

Currently, titanium nuts have become an indispensable core component in high-end equipment, with applications ranging from aircraft engines operating at 10,000 meters, to submersibles for deep-sea exploration, and even implantable medical devices.

The structure of titanium nuts must match the bolts and adapt to the installation space and load direction of the connected parts. Common types include:

Hexagonal nuts (GB/T 6170, ISO 4032):
Structural features: The hexagonal shape allows for easy tightening with a wrench. This is the most common structural type and is available in standard, thin (GB/T 6172), and thick (GB/T 6175) types.

Applicable applications: Almost all common connection applications, such as machinery frames, automotive components, and non-core aerospace structures.

Flange nuts (GB/T 6177, ISO 4161):
Structural features: The nut has a circular flange (with or without teeth) on the bottom, which increases the contact area without the need for additional washers, prevents loosening, and provides excellent sealing performance.

Applicable applications: Applications where vibration loads and anti-loosening are required, such as automotive chassis, marine engines, and wind turbine blade connections.

Locking Nuts (such as GB/T 6184 and GB/T 6185):
Structural Features: These nuts are designed to prevent loosening through a special structure. Common types include “double-nut locking,” “slotted nut + cotter pin,” and “nylon insert locking nut.”

Applicable Applications: Applications subject to dynamic loads and severe vibration, such as aircraft engines, wheel-axle connections for rail transit vehicles, and core components of precision instruments.

Specialized Nuts (such as square nuts, round nuts, and T-Nuts):
Structural Features: These nuts have a non-standard shape and are designed to meet specific installation spaces or functional requirements. For example, T-Nuts can be inserted into guide rail grooves to achieve a sliding connection.

Applicable Applications: Applications with special installation spaces or functional requirements, such as machine tool guide rails, module connections for automation equipment, and custom medical device components.
