Hexagonal nuts (GB/T 6170, ISO 4032):
Structural features: The hexagonal shape allows for easy tightening with a wrench. This is the most common structural type and is available in standard, thin (GB/T 6172), and thick (GB/T 6175) types.

Applicable applications: Almost all common connection applications, such as machinery frames, automotive components, and non-core aerospace structures.

Flange nuts (GB/T 6177, ISO 4161):
Structural features: The nut has a circular flange (with or without teeth) on the bottom, which increases the contact area without the need for additional washers, prevents loosening, and provides excellent sealing performance.

Structural Features: These nuts have a non-standard shape and are designed to meet specific installation spaces or functional requirements. For example, T-Nuts can be inserted into guide rail grooves to achieve a sliding connection.
